Sunnydale was two years gone in the summer of 1941, and everything had been quiet. The Slayers went their separate ways. Dean Winchester settled into the life of a mechanic and his brother, Sam, found his way to Stanford, University. Life seemed to go on despite the horrors overseas.

But the war brought itself to the States, and Los Angeles became a booming War Town almost overnight. Crowded, noisy… the perfect place for a vampire to feed unnoticed. After all, who would miss a nameless, faceless war worker or one more blond starlet in a town this size?
