Playsuits come back into fashion every few years, so this sort of thing shouldn't be too surprising for modern eyes! When it comes to swimwear, remember --- they didn't have spandex yet so some of their swimwear was still knit or made of non-elasticized materials like cotton. Yes, that does sound horrible. :P
